In early December 2025, our Green Roof Philippines team conducted a Prioritization Workshop with the communities of Barangay Balsik, reinforcing our commitment to the Community Development Program (CDP). The workshop provided a meaningful platform for community representatives to actively participate in identifying and prioritizing development initiatives that address their most pressing needs

Participants from various community groups, including single parents, farmers, and barangay health workers, came together to discuss key focus areas that matter most to their daily lives. The discussion highlighted priorities such as continuing support to farming communities, livelihood opportunities, education and scholarship programs for the youth, and access to clean energy. This inclusive dialogue enabled us to align our CDP activities with the community’s real needs, ensuring that our social investment efforts are both meaningful and sustainable.  

Key priorities identified during the workshop included:

• Installation of additional Solar Powered Irrigation System (SPIS) units
• Implementation of solar street lighting
• Livelihood programs for women
• Youth engagement initiatives and scholarship collaborations
• Support for barangay health programs

This initiative reflects CN Green Roof Asia’s ongoing commitment to inclusive community engagement, strong stakeholder collaboration, and sustainable social development in the areas where our projects operate.
