We are excited to share the construction footage from one of our existing De Heus sites,  Proconco Binh Dinh rooftop solar project.

De Heus is a global leader in the animal feed industry with production facilities in over 90 countries. De Heus processes a strong business presence in Vietnam – boasting a history of over 15 years with prominent brands including De Heus, Windmill, Koudijs, Proconco, and Anco. Currently, De Heus Vietnam operates 16 feed mills across the country, including the first premix feed mill in Asia.

• Celebrating collaboration milestones:

Since signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2023, Green Roof and De Heus have partnered to implement a growing portfolio of rooftop solar projects. More than a clean energy provider, Green Roof has also supported De Heus in their journey toward achieving their first net-zero target.

Our solar systems have met approximately 20% - 30% of the daily energy needs across De Heus factories – helping them to incorporate solar energy into their consumption, reducing dependence on the grid and accelerating the shift to renewables.

Beyond cost savings, Green Roof’s solar systems also bring long-lasting values to the environment and local communities for the next 20 years. Our planned impact for the portfolio once completed is expected to generate more than 15 milion kWh of clean energy and prevent more than 5,900 tons of carbon emissions each year. The table below illustrates more environmental impact equivalent to the amount of tCO2 offsetting.

At Green Roof, we prioritize construction excellence and place high importance on safety standards. The construction works are completed speedily, while following a rigorous quality-controlled process overseen by our expert engineering team. Even after commissioning, we continue to provide full-scope operations and maintenance to ensure long-term efficiency and performance.
